COPYING LINES OF CODE: ORACLE DEFEATED BY GOOGLE!

On 5 April 2021, the US Supreme Court put an end to the dispute between Oracle and Google. By confirming that Google could indeed invoke the fair use of American law to reproduce more than 11,500 lines of code, this decision does not clarify the fate of the protection of these lines by copyright, American law.
